My Approach
My therapeutic style is primarily influenced by the pluralistic, humanistic and relational schools of therapy and counselling. This means that I view each individual as unique and tailor the treatment plan to specifically address your particular needs, taking into account the challenges and difficulties you are currently facing, have recently experienced, or have encountered in the past. Instead of using a 'one-size-fits-all' model, I prefer to customize the treatment plan based on your individual circumstances. I consider the therapeutic relationship to be a significant vehicle for facilitating transformation and self-growth.
I have substantial training and extensive experience in a number of psychological therapies, including EMDR, CBT, ACT, DIT and psychodynamic psychotherapy. Additonally, I am heavily influenced by mindfulness practices and emphasise the significance of context in understanding human behaviour and promoting mental health.
I mainly work in an integrative and collaborative way, drawing on a wide range of evidence-based therapeutic theories and techniques. This approach helps to address the main problem, move towards acceptance and change, and achieve the desired outcomes and goals in therapy.
